Festive Crafts & Gift Making 6 Week Course

Try a range of Autumn/ Winter crafts and learn to make some beautiful handmade gifts and wrapping ready for the festive season!

Join Local Artist Alice Burford to embrace the festive season, enjoy learning a variety of Autumn/ Winter Crafts and create your own handmade gifts and wrapping!

Throughout the 6 weeks you will be exploring different craft techniques and creating items such as collage greeting cards, felt embroidered tree decorations, handmade wrapping paper, embossed metal garlands, wooden decorations and seasonal wreaths.

The crafts created within the course will have a focus on sustainability and use of natural materials.

Suitable for beginners and all levels, all materials are included and you will leave with your completed pieces and all the skills and confidence to carry on creating at home.

Hot drinks and biscuits included.

Stitch-Up CIC is a social enterprise supporting people of all ages to learn new skills, improve wellbeing and connect with others through craft & creativity.

Our studio is based at Meanwood Community Centre, Stainbeck Avenue, LS7 2QU.

There is ample parking at the Community Centre Car Park. If you cannot fit in the Car Park, please park on Stainbeck Avenue and with consideration to the residents please do not park in the cul-de-sac.

The Stitch-Up Studio is to the rear of the Community Centre. Once you arrive in reception please follow the signs for Stitch-Up or ring our door bell if the main entrance door is locked and we will come and let you in.
