Join local embroidery artist and gardener Elnaz Yazdani for a unique weekly community gardening group at Meanwood Community Centre.
Supported by Stitch-Up CIC & Incredible Edible Meanwood, this friendly group explores flower growing and we will be trialling it until the end of the summer term.
Together, we will learn beginners' gardening skills while planting and maintaining a vibrant flower garden.It is the perfect opportunity to learn something new, get outdoors, and connect with others in your local community. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced gardener, everyone is welcome!☕
What is included?
- Hands-on gardening guidance
- All essential group gardening tools
- Free tea and coffee throughout the session
🎒 What to bring & wear
- Clothing: Please wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
- Donations: While the event is free to attend, voluntary donations are highly welcome on-day to help fund seeds, plants, and equipment.
🚗 Parking & Access
- On-site: Plenty of parking is available in the main Meanwood Community Centre car park.
- Overflow: If the car park is full, please park on the main part of Stainbeck Avenue.
- Resident Note: Please be considerate of our neighbours and do not park in the cul-de-sac.
