Beginners Sewing Workshop
Learn to sew in this fun beginners workshop
Join us for our Beginners Sewing workshop with brilliant local artist Bev Rhodes.
Bev is multidisciplinary artist who loves sharing their craft knowledge and helping others find wellbeing through craft and creativity.
Sewing is such a fun and versatile skill to learn and there are so many things that you can make once you've learnt how to use a sewing machine. It is also a great hobby to have to help you relax and look after your everyday wellbeing.
During this workshop you will learn how to use a sewing machine before turning scrappy fabrics or yarn ends into quilted pouches to take home. This is a great way to recycle materials into something beautiful and useful!
It's perfect way to spend your Saturday morning being creative in the surroundings of our lovely studio.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and those wanting to refresh their skills.
All materials are included.
Tea, coffee and biscuits are included.
This workshop also makes a great gift, just print off the ticket after purchasing and pop it in a card.
Stitch-Up CIC is a social enterprise supporting people OF ALL AGES to learn new skills, improve wellbeing and connect with others through craft & creativity.
