Stitch-Up Knit & Crochet Group

Join us in our lovely studio to relax and connect with other knitters and crocheters, share patterns and tricks, work on your own projects and use our skills for good to knit and crochet items for our local community.

You can work on your own projects or join in with community projects. We've just finished making blankets and baby items to donate to Leeds Baby Bank and started on a fun new project to create a Christmas display for Meanwood Community Centre! 

This is an informal group and not a taught workshop but open to beginners and all levels of knitters & crocheters who are able to work on own projects. If you've never knit or crochet before then why not try one of our beginners workshops first before attending the group?

We have loads of yarns, needles and hooks to use but donations of yarns, tools and patterns always welcome.

Hot drinks and biscuits are also included.

These sessions are being offered on a Pay What You Can basis to make sure they are accessable to all so please enter the amount you are able to pay at checkout. However we have added a suggested donation of £5 per session for those that can pay to help us cover costs.

We would absolutely love to see you there.

COVID SAFETY MEASURES:

* Please do not attend the studio if you are feeling unwell, have Covid 19 or have experienced any symptoms of Covid 19 in the 7 days prior to attending or have been in contact with anyone else who has had symptoms.

* Please use hand sanitiser on entry and exit of the studio.

Stitch-Up CIC is a social enterprise and any profits we make are reinvested straight back into delivering our creative community projects supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Leeds to learn new skills and improve wellbeing.
