Mending Studio

Mending Studio is our popular and friendly weekly mending and repair session. 

Learn to repair clothes and textiles and improve your everyday wellbeing in a relaxed, welcoming and supportive environment with Lorna of Mending Magic.

Our Studio Sessions combine structured learning with creative freedom. Each session begins with a short, focused demonstration by our expert tutor introducing a new mending technique or skill. This term Lorna will demonstrating techniques for winter repair such as Japanese sashiko, visible and subtle mending. The rest of the session is a flexible, supported workspace where you can either practice that week's technique or work on your own self-directed projects with the tutor on hand to offer individual guidance.

This session is open to beginners and all levels and all materials are provided.

Please book for the term by selecting one of our termly passes First. Our pricing is a Pay What You Can system to ensure this session is accessible to everyone. Please choose the 4 class or 6 class pass that fits in with your current financial situation. f you are new here try a Low cost First time taster ticket before you sign up for a pass.

If you feel that you cannot afford any of the pass options please contact us. We have a limited number of hardship passes available to those in severe financial hardship.
